Any ssoegutign that an enemy to Republicanism in Australia is the Monarchists is ludicrous.Any red blooded Australian worth his salt would (and has) been left dumbstruck at the shameless fawning to the Monarchy and confused to the bitter split between the two Monarchist organisations. If they can’t even agree on who is our Head of State then why on earth are we even considering them to be a serious threat? Let alone take any notice of them.The biggest threat they do pose is the spin of rhetoric they thread through any informed, intelligent thought processes Jo and Jill Citizen are compelled to undertake.No, Monarchists are but a laughing stock on the face of Australian pride and nationalism.

Europe at that time has become so rational. Tyranny may be powerful but there are times that they should fall. Once rationality dominated the minds of the people, surely their thrones will throw up the tyrants themselves.
