Hello?? What’s this about a poem not being good if it’s short?? Emily Dickinson is the BEST POET EVER (so far) and this poem is made all the more beautiful by its simplicity. In fact, you could even say this poem reflects its subject; because nature is so simple and beautiful, just like the poem.

I love this poem. For one it is short but has so much meaning behind it.Alot of times it doesn’t take alot of thiniking to create a poem, because all you have to do is observe the atmosphere around you.I can also relate to what she says about the good poems.Because alot of them fade away after time!!

  14. Nicole says:

I believe what Dickinson is saying in this poem, is that there is poetry ever where in a summer sky, and that you can just see and feel it and you can not capture it in a book.
