Jesus! thy Crucifix

Jesus! thy second face
Mind thee in Paradise

  1. Farouq Aaron-Resida van Halden says:

This poem from Ms Emily Dickinson was inspired by the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the way to God and nothing and nobody else, no Boeddha, no Muhammad, no Krishna, only Jesus the Son of God and the Son of man.

  2. Hannah says:

I think that this poem is awesme! I mean, who better to write about than Jesus- who died to save you! Emily Dickonson was truly a great poet and this is one of her best works to me!

  3. Michelle says:

eh, well i dont hope to join our “heavenly father.” i mean, you all say that dying is the only way to being with God, so why is everyone making such a big deal about Jesus dying if going to heaven, which i assume he went, is such a great thing? Many people die for others, doesn’t mean i gotta worship them.

  4. Penny says:

All I have to say is Emily wrote a poem on Jesus. That is great. Jesus is great and I love him with all my heart because he died for me on the crucifix. Who is like beautiful Jesus? Someday I pray that the world will change and that we all join him and our Heavenly father in paradise forever! Bless you all.
