I have no Life but this —
To lead it here —
Nor any Death — but lest
Dispelled from there —

Nor tie to Earths to come —
Nor Action new —
Except through this extent —
The Realm of you —

  1. Elli says:

I think she is saying that she has dissolved into her lover so much that she does not exist outside of their love. She has no life but has never died, her life exists to the extent of the realm of her and her lover.

  2. Michaelia says:

This poem is so passionate about love, it draws you into her thoughts about her love.
