I AM he that aches with amorous love;
Does the earth gravitate? Does not all matter, aching, attract all matter?
So the Body of me, to all I meet, or know.

  1. hector says:

    I am working on a paper about Whitman. I can’t
    believe that who wrote these lines, spoke the same language that Bush does.

    Yo soy aquel a quien atormenta el amor,
    ¿Acaso no gravita la Tierra?
    ¿Acaso no toda la materia atrae,
    atormentada, a toda a la materia?
    Así mi cuerpo atrae a todos aquellos
    a quienes encuentro o conozco.

    (mi aberración/versión in spanish)

    Mi única conclusión es que
    Whitman habló con la boca
    y Bush habla con el culo.
