Editorial Reviews:
Synopsis
NEWSFLASH!!!!! This book is being replaced by the new "I am a YoungStar and I Love Me Some ME! Young Adult Version" AND "I Love Me Some ME TOO! Positivity Poems for YOUNGER Stars."

"I Love Me Some Me! Positivity Poems for Our YoungStars" is being edited for Leaders to use for these new books of poetry versions for younger and older youth. ALL poems will be included in the book as well as suggestions and links to assist with discussions and other activities.

The poems in I Love Me Some Me! Positivity Poems for Our YoungStars provide a literary and literacy boost up! The poems are designed for marinating & masticating!
They are intended to stimulate higher ordered thinking in youth and to help them process a lot of what is happening in our "post-racial" world today. I Love Me Some ME! Positivity Poems for Our YoungStars opens dialogue for assisting youth - and others - in self-discovery and pride within themselves, their heritage and contributions to the world.
The poems are meant to be read orally and followed by discussions where the participants are encouraged to speak their minds in an accepting atmosphere of tolerance. Some of the poems will require more dissection than others depending on the ages and level of understanding of the readers. Many of the poems are playful. Some are "deep". Others are sobering. All are provocative.

PROMOTE LITERACY! KEEP MINDS LIT!

Attention please! I have no control over what books are shown under the pages featuring my books for youth. "Urban" literature has come to mean adult reading that leans toward writing I feel is not the type I would suggest toward a young audience. A lot of it seems to have no real value other than getting some youth more interested in reading.
