Synopsis

Sharona is helped through her grief, and the birth of her son J.J., by her best friend Felicia, and her father-in-law, Edward. They encourage Sharona to move on with her life. After a while, she meets the enigmatic and handsome Dr Diego Cruz. After a whirlwind romance, he charms Sharona into marrying him, and even wins over J.J., and the doubting Edward and Felicia. But who is this man who has swept Sharona off her feet? Why is he so secretive? Is it a coincidence that he works in the same company as her late husband?

Sharona, happy in her engagement and busy at work, casts these troubling questions aside, but the closer she becomes to Diego, the more her life is beset by bizarre and tragic incidents. At first, it is the odd anonymous phone call. Then she starts having vivid dreams of Jason and the accident, and she is convinced he is trying to get a message through to her ”" but what? She consults a psychic, who suddenly disappears, and inexplicably, J.J.’s nanny gets murdered in Sharona’s house. Suddenly, all these seemingly unrelated incidents come into focus and Sharona realizes almost too late, that her life is in mortal danger.

A romance and thriller to keep you guessing till the end. But is it the end? Sharona lives, but she is by no means out of danger, and soon finds herself embroiled in a terrifying conspiracy, which you can read all about in the sequel to this book, Pharaoh’s Plot.
