Editorial Reviews:
Synopsis
Lillian is disturbed by her terrifying dreams she had of Corbin and her friend being destroyed. Corbin also had the same dreams. Were they in fact destined to die together? Did Corbin know this was going to happen all along? Marie finally releases her vengeance for Corbin. She is even stronger than they both imagined. Brandon has also become just as strong. Lillian knows she does not have the strength to stop them both now. Has she lost all her friends completely? Will her new life, in Indiana begin with the death of her friends? This possibly could not be happening to her. She has already been through so much pain and anguish. How is Lillian going to ever put all of this behind her?
FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT is the seventh and final story in the exciting new series LILLIAN THE VAMPIRE. It finishes the story of Lillian and Brandon that began with: A BLESSED CURSE, A THIRST FOR BLOOD, MEANT TO BE and ASHES TO ASHES, DAGAN AND DAMIEN and FOR ALL ETERNITY. Can a young girl desperate to find her place in the world survive a real and new change? Can she actually focus on starting a new life by looking to the past? Can she find love where others find darkness?
Here is a preview:
“I know darling, I had the same dream. We will fight them, and we will lose. This is one thing I never saw coming, but the fact that you and I shared the same nightmare tells me this is the future. The time is now and I can sense Marie, I feel her getting closer and closer. I can hear her voice. It is just a whisper now, but Brandon has called her and she has awakened from her slumber. I just don’t understand why she decided to answer him and why now. Over the centuries I have heard others cry out for her assistance, and she replied with setting them ablaze. Perhaps it is the fact that Brandon is calling out for my destruction. She has hated me from the very beginning. I have killed many of her fledglings over the centuries, so she has had hatred for me, and as I have for her. One thing I didn’t tell you was that she was made the same time I was. The reason for that was because my master and I didn’t know that she survived the exchange of the blood. She screamed in agony and fell into a deep sleep. We buried her in his family tomb. As I told you what I had done after, Marie awoke and went insane. No one knows how long she was locked in that tomb, and when she was let out, she fed off of every human that she saw, men, women, and the purest blood of them all, infants. She has no soul, no rhyme or reason other than to kill and feed off of mortal and immortal alike.”
