Editorial Reviews:
Synopsis
What starts out for Dinah Benson as a roadside misfortune, when she is forced to wait in a torrential storm, turns into a night she can never forget. Rescued by the battle-scarred Captain Alex Legrant, she finds herself irresistibly attracted to her saviour. But she is soon to be married to a man she has never met, and Dinah is desperate for just one act of rebellion before she takes on the role her Father arranged. Dinah spends that night in Alex’s arms.

Alex knows where to look when he wants to satisfy his needs, but he has never dreamed of seducing a girl of Society stock. He would never have let things between them take the course they did, despite Dinah’s half-provocative, half-desperate behaviour, but for one thing: She was to be Lord Timbury’s wife.

Little does Dinah know that when the night is over, her adventure has only just begun…
