Synopsis
Musical Drama Sheet Music-full score -- opera-music drama.. Medea (mezzo-soprano); Woman (soprano); Creon (Bass-Baritone) and Jason (Baritone). FULL Score for Flute, Obe, Bb Clarinet, Horn in F, Basson, Timpani -- A piano reduction for rehearsal purposes is inclued in the full score. DURATION aproximately 30 minutes. Jason, for whom Medea has sacrificed and done so much, has abandoned her to marry the daughter of Creon, King of Corinth, who in turn has ordered Medea's banishment with her sons. Enraged at Jason's ingratitude, Medea sends a poisoned robe as gift to his bride, kills her own children, and exhibits them to Jason as her final gesture of hate and revenge.
