This true first edition of Kerouac's classic novel of the Beat Generation includes original first state dust jacket featuring Bill English's abstract rectangular drawings in red, blue and black on the front panel and spine. Blue and red lines on rear of DJ, with price present at the top of the inside flap, indicate a true first state. Dust jacket is in Very Good condition -- some mild wear, one small tear, dust spots on rear portion. DJ is encased in removable mylar sleeve to prevent further wear. Book itself is Fine, very clean and unmarked. 310 pages; approx. 5"x8".
