Little, Brown and Company, 1962. Very Good. Alcorn, John. Little, Brown and Company, 1962. Very Good. Alcorn, John. Ogden Nash (1902 - 1971) was one of America's best known poets, famous for his light verse and his ability to create words that would fit his rhymes. This is a collection from 1962, stated fourth printing, with appropriate illustrations by John Alcorn. Tan cloth binding with gold lettering and blue decoration on spine only. No marking inside or out; binding tight and square. Dust jacket has not been clipped but carries no price, so it is possible this is some sort of book club; white with illustration on gold block on front board side. Jacket is chipped at top of spine and has several repaired tears at top and bottom of board area. Jacket is also worn due to being packed too tight on shelf; now Brodart covered to prevent further deterioration. 171 pages.
