Editorial Reviews:
Synopsis
There are few more convincing and less sentimental accounts of passionate love than Wuthering Heights, and this can't-put-it-down novel filled with passion and drama will have you glued to your seat for days.

Wuthering Heights tells the story of an unrestrained and persecuted orphan, Heathcliff, and his deep love formed with the daughter of his benefactor, Catherine Earnshaw.

Whilst Catherine forms an intense attachment to Heathcliff, he becomes torn between their love and the humilitation and torment from Catherine's savage brother Hindley.

After reaching breaking point, Heathcliff departs Wuthering Heights, and then returns three years later, when he is crushed to learn that Catherine has married. Although Catherine's heart longs for Heathcliff, he is determined to exact revenge.
