In a world, not so far away, five ancient races collide in a story that started in the time before recorded history and took root with the rise of Babylon. Five ancient races lay the foundation for all advanced life forms on planet Earth. They began as a race united within a great city of the ancient world known as Babylon. When the city fell for reasons that can only be explained as divine, the one race of Babylonians was split into five separate groups which migrated from the city to populate the Earth. This cataclysmic event and the splitting of their language led to the downfall of a unified people resulting in the birth of the races. One group travelled north, the Shadows, only to be slaughtered with the exception of the children, who became the adopted of creatures whose origins are unknown. Another group, the Arkons, journeyed west toward the Atlantic to inhabit new lands and distance themselves from all others. They eventually were led by fate to a land filled with life -- a Utopian like Fountain of Youth. By an intervention, not even known by those who chose the path, the warrior cast of the Arkons continued their travels further west, leaving their Utopia to inhabit what was later known as Atlantis. Those who ventured east disappeared in a manner that would define tragedy, without reason or explanation.
