The Flyboys

This story is about the start of a new industry in 1945 at the end of WW-2 and the problems the new start-up companies encountered. It tells in detail the history and story of one cargo company,"Coastal Cargo" that was started by 3 WW-2 pilots who were buddies during the war. It also covers some of the unbelievable happenings in the "barnstorming" years of this industry. The political problems associated with the Civil Aeronautics Board and the harassment of these companies by this government agency are documented. The brief history of the freight and "Supplemental Air Carriers," (or sometimes called the Non-Skeds) is also included.
