Introduction by Lawrence Ferlinghetti. Emil White was a very close associate/friend to author Henry Miller during a twenty year period (1942 - 1962) when Henry Miller was living and writing in Big Sur, California. Emil acted as Miller's secretary/social director and was associated with many famous and important people of the period like Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Jaime de Angulo, Lord Buckley and many others.
