Editorial Reviews:
Synopsis
In this story, Vietnam vet C. Eddy steals his father's body from a hospital with the intention of burying him in an ancient Indian burial mound. In the process, he joins up with Amy, a beautiful drug addict whose boyfriend, the most vicious drug dealer in town, is in jail after beating her. They embark on a run for their lives through the swamps outside Greenville, Mississippi, through prehistoric ruins to the city and back again. Along the way they encounter a cast of vivid characters: an MIA widow pregnant from her affair with an oddball teenager, an ecstatically crazy bank robber, an old moneyed professor of Native American Culture and an arms merchant/catfish farmer.
