Out of all the poems I read the one that fascinated me the most was
“Acquainted With the Night” by Robert Frost. To me it stood out from
the rest irtaecng a feeling of loneliness as it seems to explain of
someone’s travels alone. Describing the events that took place as he
seemed to explore walking from one place to another. I liked the way the
lines of the poem fit together nicely, and it made it more interesting to
read. Also I like how the poem ended with the same line it started with as
it summed up the poem well.

This poem is very central to the focus and feeling of Mr. Berry's novels
and nonfiction, as well as his other poetry. He loves the land and its
people, and he always speaks of our proper place in our world...a place of
responsibility and conservation, not a world of gluttony and exploitation
of resources and other people. lkm
