i really quite like this poem, its awesome, i love the way he compares the
spider, endlessly striving to reach its goal of spinning its web to the
soul endlessly striving to find an identity! its such a random comparison
and its awesome!

the spider is forever creating its web to explore its vast surroundings.
this is compared to the speaker's soul because the soul is "ceaselessly
musing." it is always searching for spiritual fulfillment within its
"measureless oceans of space," similar to the spider's vast surroundings.
i don't think the soul is waiting for a body as stated below. I think the
soul is trying to...kinda discover itself. its in search of its identity,
which it will not find until it creates the bridge between itself and
whatever it is that it needs to find.

a noiseless patient spider: the spider is making a web, making a home for
itself. kinda like a soul waiting for a body. the soul is making a bridge
"till the ductile anchor hold, Till the gossamer thread you fling catch
somewhere."
