Analysis and comments on So Long. by Walt Whitman

I became interested in this particular poem because of the lines from the
poem read in the movie "The Notebook". I love to read and wanted to find
the whole poem. I found it here! I have always loved poetry. I read this
poem. Whitman is hard to understand. One thing this poem addresses is
death.... the thoughts of this man at his death... very intense, deep and
amazing thoughts.... Thank you for posting this poem.
