i like this poem very much.
after "Oh Captain! my captain" it is my favorite :)
its so very true and makes you think, though it is so short

I think this poem has lots of meaning. First, why shouldn't you talk to
strangers or people that you already know. People tell me that they get
lonely, but if they just go and talk to someone I think that they might
make new friends, and they will not be bored. If most people would just
talk this world would be much better.

In der Kuerze liegt die Wuerze (German proverb)
means: the kick of it is in its short form. And I think this poetry is
really great - if you ever passed a small strange city on your business
trip, the city whre you do not know anyone and spent few lonely nights even
there are a lot of people aroud you - would know what WW wanted to say.

This is my favorite poem because not only is it short, it is very poignant
and thoughtful because why shouldn’t we all stopand talk to each other when
we cross each other on the road, instead of giving the occasional nod to
the friend and completely ignoring the people we don’t know.
