I have lost 4 babies. I don't greive for it, I've been lucky to be able to
accept it, but I wept reading this poem. The white of the hospital, the
flatness of "health care," the lonliness of the mother's experience. she
captures the impersonality of it all so perfectly. It is brilliant that
three mothers share the poem, and all three feel so lonley.

You are right: it indeed is a beautiful poem. I just love it! She
exceptionally describes women who don't know how to love and those not
loved by their "blind husbands"

A beautiful poem. Sylvia Plath has a way of making the words dance.
