This poem is so true...the deception on how pain is brought into love's
"life". The relationship between love & pain is so realistic, with the
fact that the companion(heart's pain), of course, is no help.

This poem is saying that to love is not an easy road, because the path is
filled with obstacles and pain. I don't think it's even talking about
unrequited love, necessarily. It is said that the greatest love will, out
of necessity, bring you pain, and that these two intense feelings often go
hand in hand. In order to love deeply, you have to be able to deal with
the pain that often comes with it.

I think that it shows how to love is to greive. She loved, and her comanion
came but didnt help. He was Pain, and he was there. So to love is to
greive. thats what i think, but its late, so im a little messed up
