i believe in the 2nd traveller wherein the truth is just a thing that
cannot be seen or touch its just an abstract thing ..
and we can find truth only in ourselves..
but we cant say that someone is telling the truth because truth is cannot
be seen by our naked eyes ..
truth is like an air we cant see it but we can feel it ! :)

There is more than one truth out there. It is the truth as you see it, that
one must choose. I choose the second traveler.

This is a great poem. I believe it is stating the truth in life also. The
poem describes two very plausible ideas that two people could have and live

When I read this poem it really caught my attention. If you have read the
other comments on this page like I have, you will notice that everyone has
a different opinion on what this poem is saying. To me, this poem speaks
about the truth or meaning of life. The first traveller believes that he
has found this inner meaning, and it is solid like a rock, something he
lives by. The second traveller has not yet grasped the truth of this life,
and cannot seem to find the answers he is searching for. Rock is tangible,
it is there for you to touch. This is what the first traveller believes
because he has found it, and lives by these solid beliefs. The second
traveler doesn't grasp what he feels to be the truth of life, using things
like phantoms to represent it. The author then uses his voice to note that
he is still searching, but has not yet found life's true meaning. I think
that this is a fantastic poem that is meant to be interpreted in any
different ways, by the many different people that read it. Life's truth is
endless, and until you find what you believe to be its meaning, you will
keep grasping for this personal knowledge.
