    This is one of the best poems I have read on this site, I wonder why it’s not the #1? It also explains how people these days talk. Half of the time, my friends are talking and I have no idea what they are talking about, because they slurr everything together.

    This is such a fantastic poem! It is a little confusing, but after reading it three or four times you understand it. I love Shel, he is so creative with his poems and he knows how to brighten up your day with a simple poem like this!

    This poem is like the way poeple use words these days and don’t even know what they’re saying and if you say one word, it can mean something different. Sorry if that made you think too much. This poem is adorable and should be read by everyone.

    I have always been a lover of poetry….Shel Silverstein was the first poet I was introduced to way back in elementary school. I admire his work and this was the first poem I heard from him and I love it!! Now I am 25 and I still can appreciate his poetry.

    I can’t say that this poem is my favorite poem from Shell Silverstein’s books, but it’s definetly one of them. Shell Silverstein is my favorite poem teller ever. And that’s a fact. I’m even doing a small book report on him.

    omg! i love this poem and i love shel silverstein books. he is an awesome writter and he inspires me so
    much. i have most of his books and have read them from cover to cover more than once. my favorite poem that he wrote is probably Sick and the one about the girl wanting the pony but her parents wouldnt let her have it and then she died. those are awesome well bye bye

    I love this poem. it was 1 of the first poems i heard from Shel Silverstein. It’s really funny. it got me into silverstein books. i hope a lot of people like it too!
