in this poem, robinson, with power and humor, drew the portrait of acpt.
craig, the wise and witty observer of new england life, of its social anf
literary phenomena, the failureof tillbury town who had saved his soul
alive in defiance of conventionality and hand glimpsed the underlying
meaning of life
