Good Grief! Leave it alone.
The poem speaks for itself.
Most of these comments are absurd!

The metaphor here is a comparison of a woman to a spider web -- many shared
characteristics, some shared communication skills, some shared results.

Wow. I did not know that Mr. Frost could write posthumously. Though I've no
doubt there are other gentlemen with the name "Robert Frost" - the writer
of this charming critique sets himself up as being the author of the poem
in question.
Poet Robert Frost died in 1963.

I am apalled by all of these comments except the one before mine of course,
Id be turning in my grave if I was in one. Whoever related the fine lady I
dedicated this sonnet to a ship clearly did not even bother to read my
work. In fact I doubt half of you who claim this is "a great poem" or "This
is my favorite work" even bother to read it thouroughly. Its not that
difficult to come to the conclusion that the lady is free, even though she
is bound by love. Because these "silken ties of love and thought" allow her
to be strong, and stand tall a "central cedar pole". Oh and Shaneequa, I
think a part of me died when I read your interpretation.
