I began to read this poem and immediately thought of my childhood fear of
storms and thunder. As I read further the fear of the storm the author was
enduring settled in and became more intense. When I finished reading I was
left with a feeling of uneasiness and questions, what was the extent of the
storm and did everyone make it?
