Don't you think you should remove the list of links to Mrs Parker's poetry
seeing as you have removed the poetry itself? It's a complete waste of your
readers' time to click on all those links only to see the "removed by
demand of copyright holder" notice.

hey o i am from antigua and and half of me is in barbuda. I love dis here
po im because it remined me of pot a toes and yams and hot sluts on the
street at nite tht i meet in the new showhouse on lind lake street. mmmm

This poem is simple and beautifully written. I think that its meaning is
pretty straight forward. Our society is self centered and tends to overlook
things that don't apply to us. I love this poem because it speaks the
truth.

I like this poem a lot.
I never really thought about the social context though. It's interesting,
but not surprising. Human nature never really changes, most people
(including myself..) are kinda self-centered.

To me this poem is very much about how everyone stands alone in grief; the
worth of something that is lost, is only known and understood by the one
who lost it.
