I love this poem! It's so recognizable and funny in an ironic, bitter way.
The title is brilliant too, by the way; ' The Danger of Writing Defiant
Verse' . Very clever, very funny, kinda tragic.

I don't think she liked him because he's a nice guy who would do anything
for her. A sucker, A sap. Unforunatly this presents a horrible catch 22 for
women. If they want to be with a Man who cares for and loves them they
might find him square and boring. If they seek scumbag who will use them
and abuse them they get what they seek. I like this poem because it makes
me angry about women and love. I'm in love and I niether want to be boring
or too "interesting" if you catch my meaning

This is a very nice poem, and something that people should remember. Just
because someone would do all this stuff for you doesn't mean they are
sensible...Like I said, this is a very nice poem.

i love this poem so much. it is so true and so blunt. nothing abstract,
nothing to deep. just true.

i fell in love with this poem within the first two lines because i knew it
would pertain to my life pretty well. and all along the way everything rang
true. and then the last line came and i had a good laugh because it was
possibly the truest of them all.
