I have always loved this poem. As I grow older, having lost my parents,
but coming to know beloved grandchildren and being unable to imagine my
world without them, this sentiment is comforting - and so true. Who would
turn back the hands of time if they could? Although I do want them to move
as slowly as possible forward.
