More About People is a satire.It's a funny poem.Ogden Nash is known for his
his funny works and this one of his best.

This is a satire of our workaholic society, and a rather good one at that.
To comment on the other comments, though I am loathe to do so, :
1: There is no single interpretation of a poem and it is obvious you are
looking for someone to do your homework for you
2: Is almost unintelligable. Also, Ogden Nash wrote the poem, but did not
post it on this site, so I doubt he will ever see that comment. Perhaps
that is a blessing for him.
