Analysis and comments on Picture-Writing by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Comment 3 of 3, added on May 22nd, 2007 at 3:31 PM.

The poem was good because it was like you want to keep reading to find out
what is happening at the end. It was also good because it had a good
meaning in the poem, picture-writing.

In my opinion, I think this poem is mainly about life, trying your best,
wisdom, and death,.. One saying in the poem exactly says this : "Great men
die and are forgotten, Wise men speak; their words of wisdom.” I think
that explains a lot because it means about wise men, speaking the word of
wisdom.

I think that this poem is a very detailed and long poem that describes
life, death, ancestors, and family. I also think that this poem uses good
punctuation, spelling, and descriptive words to set the tone.
