Analysis and comments on THE BRIDGE by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Comment 2 of 2, added on November 30th, 2005 at 8:47 AM.

I had to memorize this poem for my class, and then present it, It went
okay, But i think I fell in love with this poem, We got to choose which
ones we wanted to do, and i don't know why but I just picked this one, It
really doesn't tell a story, but yet it does, I don't know- I just like
it....A lot!!!

It seems that I read that he wrote this after his wife died.
