the poem brings us to the realisation of how industrialisation has changed
the world and in this case-for the worse. This is a good poem which has a
theme about nature and concentrates mainly on the Red Indians of the time
and the buffaloes themselves. I could easily relate to what was being
mensioned in the poem by Lindsay as we ourselves in zimbabwe have animals
such as rhinos becoming extinct, if any are around, they do not roam around
freely as they are kept in captivity. Thumbs up, Lindsay!

The poem is about nature that is not natural. It is about how modernization
has taken over our priorities, forcing nature to retreat to a lesser level.
