H. D. - Never More Will The Wind

Never more will the wind
cherish you again,
never more will the rain.

Never more
shall we find you bright
in the snow and wind.

The snow is melted,
the snow is gone,
and you are flown:

Like a bird out of our hand,
like a light out of our heart,
you are gone.

Never More Will The Wind - Comments and Information

Poet: H. D. (H. D. Art)
Poem: Never More Will The Wind

This poem is so beautifully written, it almost makes the tragedy of a loved one's death sound somewhat romantic. It makes you cry, and feel the beauty of love at the same time. We all want to be loved and missed like H.D describes in this poem.

If this poem is about death it is simplistic and warm, inviting one might say?
