Dream girl by Mukeshkumar Mafatlal RavalHad I been a birdI would have
flown in 360 degreesand seraehcd you in every breeze and cloudat every
cliff y or treetopat every river ,pond or at hill slope.Had I been a fishI
would have looked for youin sea weeds,on sea moundsor in the conchs or in
tiny openings of shells.Had I been a deergrazing green green grass, tasting
the Scottish dewor sipping the cream of the highlands;I might have found
you under the shade of Olive treesbut nowhere did i findyou nor your
shadow. But if I were a mirrorI would have gazed youin my smile, in my
tears, resting under the coolness of my winks, strolling in the pink valley
of my dimple

i think this poem is about the poet herself.she compares herself to the wet
rose. She is wet because of troubles she faced.she wants to say that she
doesn't deserve what happened to her.
