These Fought in Any Case
frankness as never before,
disillusions as never told in the old days,
hysterias, trench confessions,
laughter out of dead bellies.
Hysterical or panic laugh. Death of humans told in frankness.

Pound makes use of literary heritage to present and advocate his own case
of history that has become totally absurd and pointless. the course of
history has been derailed simply because natins that rise against nations
make killing as the only professin people can get professional at.
In his view of the motives that motivate people to go to war, pound shows a
broken image where the many sides of the broken pieces could mean many
sides of the reality sought.
pound believes that some go to war 4 the love of killing, those people have
the dormant tendency to see pain and killing caused to other people.
some have gone to war out of fear of being seen as coward people.
the image of an apocalyptic end of being looks manmade and nothing more
than that 'coz man is the maker of history and the destroyer of it as well
i.e. when he consumes up his own desire in making beauty by deforming it.
Hence history emerges as the sole victorious entity that releases its
verdict on man as the terminator of civilization.
the vacuum left by departing civilization should be filled up again by
another one less it will be taken over by monstrous beings or bloodsuckers
in the name of the saver, Jesus Christ
Actually, love of slaughter shows the deranged state humanity has reached
such a rationalizatin of slaghter creats an image of a scary civilization.
In the fields of death, dead people show an emoty smile, crying silently
againt the living who fail to understand the nature of the current status
of civilization.
In short, it is the cry of dead people that condemns civilization to
savagery and coins it as a slaughterer of its own breed. that's why Pound
again shows the image of myriads scattered on death fields, the image of
such dead people is similar to the books hat are thrown away and this is
the most hideous crime against humanity. Books and man have been thrown as
needless an sacrificed at the alter of slaughter Mars, and on hid temple of
death

The posted peom is missing the second paragraph:
Some quick to arm
some for adventure
some from fear of weakness
some form fear of censure
some for love of slaughter, in imagination,
learning later...
some in fear, learningn love in slaughter
