prefinal exam in my major

ezra pound used the symbol of a tree pertaining to a girl. just like a
girl, from being weak with no shapes and with no make ups, becomes more
good-looking.

A Girl

The poet is speaking of the tree in the Garden of Eden, the tree of Life.
How life wins. You are violets with wind above them.
A child - so high - you are, Such opposites,"You are violets with the wind
above them", but " A child-so high-you are,". The poem speaks of goddess,
of queen, and of a girl.
