Snow flakes.
I counted till they danced so
Their slippers leaped the town,
And then I took a pencil
To note the rebels down.
And then they grew so jolly
I did resign the prig,
And ten of my once stately toes
Are marshalled for a jig!
Snow flakes.
I counted till they danced so
Their slippers leaped the town,
And then I took a pencil
To note the rebels down.
And then they grew so jolly
I did resign the prig,
And ten of my once stately toes
Are marshalled for a jig!

So um Rylie i think its funny that you like to sit and read poetry naked. Um i have to wonder does it turn you on? to me i really actually think the poem is not about winter either however it is joyful and i think that you should really stop telling people you read poetry naked.. it might give someone the wrong idea… you can still do it just dont write about it lol
I love this poem. I have to recite one poem of my pick by Emily Dickinson and i chose this one because it caught my eye. When i read it i was like who there is a lot of feeling in this one small poem. I hope the students in my class like it as much as i do.

there is nothing “cute” about this poem!
and… it is definrtly not about winter, snow or snowflakes…
This poem is so pretty. Sometimes i like to sit alone, naked, and just read it over and over again. It makes me cry. Its beautiful, oh so beautiful. Im naked right now……reading it over an over again…and crying…crying..alone in this big world…crying…naked….alone
