This poem makes you think about life in it self. How one day you just find
yourself in a new world... a world you have never seen before. The world
could hold a key to new beginnings and unlock the doors you thought could
never be opened. You start out scared of the unkown, but after a while, the
unknown becomes normal and you become unafraid and welcoming to what lies
ahead.

Try to imagine the meaning of the poem in different views; Literal,
philosophical, spiritual etc...They don't always fit every view, but doing
so can open the mind of the reader to insights about the author. I find
that most poems have meaning on more than one level and make the best sense
only when taken as a whole.
Not every poem is grand and profound. Part of the charm of this one is the
simplicity of the author's musings. While at face value it's somewhat
whimsical and has a lilting cadence that's easily digested, many things are
not explained. Leaving the reader to decide for themselves what she meant,
it can mean many things to many people.
