Emily Dickinson - Its Hour with itself

Its Hour with itself
The Spirit never shows.
What Terror would enthrall the Street
Could Countenance disclose

The Subterranean Freight
The Cellars of the Soul --
Thank God the loudest Place he made
Is license to be still.
