I have recited this gorgeous little poem several times to friends. Today I
am putting it into a card, for my dearest friend who has just had surgery
for cancer. I pray that it will make her smile ~~~ as it thrilled me when I
first came across it long ago.

I hope that all who stumble across 'Bee! I'm expecting you!' will
experience a moment of intimacy with nature.

I had been working on writing on the repetition of bee and frog in her
poems and attempting to prove that references to frogs meant her brother
and father, politicians, mainly due to all the references to frogs as
public and elect throughout her poem, plus bee as a secret name of a friend
she saw highly, when I stumbled across this. Wow, this proves both parts
when added,
and is it just me or is this written like a letter, which means fly is
emily!

I sorta agree with the crush theory. It makes sense. She has seen that
spring has come and maybe she get's a yearly maybe monthly visit from
someone. Maybe he is late and she is wondering why. She talks about how the
frogs are home and working, how the birds have come back but he is late. I
don't know. I could be wrong.
