I sorta agree with the crush theory. It makes sense. She has seen that spring has come and maybe she get's a yearly maybe monthly visit from someone. Maybe he is late and she is wondering why. She talks about how the frogs are home and working, how the birds have come back but he is late. I don't know. I could be wrong.

hey everyone!! this poem was my first choice because the title attracted it to me...it was like PICK ME PICK ME!! haha..when i finished reading this poem it put me into thinking mode.I think bee was someone she secretly had a crush on..she was waiting for him to come home and visit her..just maybe you never know what she could've ment..well i have to go im at school the teacher myte get mad! she be trippin some time folk! haha bye everyone! muah* much luv from the Sunshine state!

i think bee! I'm Expecting You! is a metaphor for bomeone who's asking a freind for help because of al of the trouble going on around him.
