Yes, beauty is difficult to define, even within the lines drawn by the
scientific and beauty industry worlds. I made a documentary about what it
is like to be a beautiful women in everyday life "Beauty: In the Eyes of
the Beheld" and my first challenge was to decide who to interview as a
"beautiful" woman. I took referrals and you wouldn't believe the
different looks referred to me as "beautiful." I think what is considered
"beautiful" in the real world is different from what is in the media. Read

What is beauty? How is beauty perceived? Throughout the world men and
woman of all ages seem to be overly concerned about their beauty, both the
inside and out. Everywhere that you go or travel you see different forms
of beauty. No matter where you go, beauty is a top concern of most people
worldwide. People want to look good, and depending on where you live or
what culture you were born into, your perception of beauty may be different
than others. There should not be such a concern about such a beautiful
thing...we are all beautiful in our very own ways.

This poem really got me when i read it. Emily has made a very visible
point. What is the definition of Beauty? There isnt one. There in no way to
define beauty in anyway. yes they have the so called "definitions" now..But
what is the real definition? Think about that.
