Emily Dickinson - "I want" -- it pleaded -- All its life --

"I want" -- it pleaded -- All its life --
I want -- was chief it said
When Skill entreated it -- the last --
And when so newly dead --

I could not deem it late -- to hear
That single -- steadfast sigh --
The lips had placed as with a "Please"
Toward Eternity --

Theme.

This poem is about Human Desires which never end until we die! Emily tells us that when one desire fulfils we want something else, something more better, important, more difficult to achieve but after all we want More. We dont stop even if we are sad. we need thing in any of our conditions, situations, circumstances. We need hapiness in sadness, we need water while eating, we need furniture while having a whole house, we need matress while having a bed, we need money while having bnk accounts, we need and so on...we need. This need is what we live for, work for, die for. We want to live forever, eternal life.
Any one want to correct me here or have better explanation plz post ur comment.
thanx.
