There is just one apostasy. We come into this world (or into my particular
family in 19th-century Amherst, MA) believing in God. If we lose or reject
that faith, we will never get it back.

I find that my previous analysis covered most aspects of this poem. At this
time I would like to give additional analysis on the poem. The poem also
reveals that Emily was feeling a little empty when she wrote the poem. she
compared the loss of an estate (one of her family's most precious
possessions) to the loss of her faith. With her illness, ld age and many
other issues burdening her, faith was her most prized possession. I feel
that this poem explains he depth of sorrow and pain that emily Dickinson
was experiencing in her old age.

in this poem, Emily Dickinson conveys that loosing one's faith is as if
loosing your vision in life. she goes on to explain that faith cannot be
replenished. she was basically saying that faith is superor to any material
possession.
