I think that this poem actually is about how looks are deceiving and that
we think we can outsmart everything, when really in turn the unexpected
happens.

At first the narrator sees nature as a harsh and abrasive thing. Then as he
walks through a beautiful and serene pasture he realizes how amazing nature
can be and it hits him that actuall wisdom goes into the creation of
nature.
