In my opinion, e.e. cummings' poem, Seeker Of Truth, is trying to say that everyone has their own path to take, and it is only that path that will take you to your personal truth. I think with "follow no path", he is saying that you cannot turn another's way of life into your own, you must instead carve your own path. All paths lead to truth, but one person's truth isn't another's.

The true seeker cannot walk the path and expect to see where he's going. Only when he does not try to walk the path and just let it be, will he be granted the truth that lies within
