I actually did an essay on this poem and after reading it over and over. I
feel that he is pondering out loud...asking why and how we choose the
people we love. What does it all mean? Why do we feel the way we feel when
we fall in love? and he does share a slight image and personal expierence
with us in the poem. After pondering and asking himself all of these
questions he finally comes to a conclusion. By the end of the poem, he
realizes that love is the strongest emotion of all and everything we do
comes back to love. It is our reasoning for living. Love is the
foundation... "it all comes down to love"

its sad, he cant be with her, "strangers arrive, when I have kissed you
into a memory." yes he tells wonderfully about love and what it can do for
you, but ultimately, he has no power, because he lost his love, and the
reason he is going crazy is because he cant get that back.

Wonderful! The chaos of love, the paradoxal meaning that love kills and
give life to lovers...
Reading it, I understand that more and more I need go on with my beloved
man...

I love this poem so much. I read it for the first time right at this
moment, and I cannot agree with it more. I wish I had a love like this, and
that my love was as true as this poem.
